321 Insight is announcing a new partnership with the Connecticut State Department of Education to deploy a web-based statewide paraeducator training program to support and retain staff, and equip all paraeducators with the tools they need to better address challenging behavior.
321 Insight is a leader in on-demand, live, and hybrid professional development (PD). They partner with schools and districts to address today’s student behavior challenges with bite-sized on-demand, in-person, and hybrid professional development solutions for paraeducators and the teachers and leaders who work with them.
Included in the program for all 17,000+ paraeducators in Connecticut school districts is access to ParaSharp, 321 Insight’s on-demand training toolkit that includes 3- to 13-minute videos and resources on topics like addressing challenging behavior, understanding the impacts of trauma, modeling and teaching skills, understanding special education, and more.
Participating districts will also have access to Building Effective Teacher-Para Partnerships, a quick on-demand video series that helps teachers to better utilize, coach, and supervise the paraeducators in their classrooms.
“We are so excited to partner with the Connecticut Department of Education in this effort to support paraeducators statewide” said Alia Jackson, President & CEO of 321 Insight. “It’s crucial that we give paras the relevant, bite-sized training they need to feel prepared and skilled in addressing challenging behavior, and this partnership helps to ensure that paras in Connecticut have on-demand access to the PD they need to thrive.”
